Communicating the idea that technology fails in the sense that it tends to cause miscomprehension and ambivalence through text messaging. How well can people "catch up" with one another  - be it a friend, a family member, an old classmate - when distance and convenience of technology contributes to a modern problem in communication? How much does text reveal about a person? Does text succeed in genuine communication?
